The only thing that will help you change is the real thing and the pressure from outside. Create situations for yourself in which too much is at stake to waste time or resources. If you cannot afford to lose, then you will not lose. Sever ties with the past, enter an unknown world where you have to rely only on your own mind and energy to reach the end. Send yourself to the "territory of death", where, with your back against the wall, you will be forced to fight like a lion to stay alive.
